Our Council and our clubs are still striving toward that goal. Our volunteer
based organization encourages our people to get in shape for skiing and
sliding, find great travel adventures, support disabled skier programs/
other charities, be informed on public affairs issues, oh yes--ski and
embrace the opportunities on the recreational race course with our own Race League. Each year we sponsor a trip to the Far West Ski
Association Ski Week. In the past we have joined FWSA for Aspen, Jackson
Hole, Lake Louise, Whistler/Blackcomb, Sun Valley, and Steamboat (to name a
very few) and for the 2022 trip we plan to attend FWSA Ski Week at
Aspen/Snowmass Whether
it is on Alpine, Nordic, mono, or shaped skis, snowboard, snowshoes, dog
or horse drawn sleds or snowmobiles, our people plan to have fun in the
snow! Our local weather provides us the opportunity to play tennis, to
bike, and to inline skate, as well as participate in snow sports in the
winter, too. Spring offers beach volleyball, mountain biking, golf,
hiking, not to mention water related sports – the varieties are endless.
Some of the present clubs were part the historical inception in 1971 and
others are just making history – skiing – enjoying snow sports, making and
being friends – all of the things associated with ski clubs with all
seasons activities. Each of our clubs is unique – therefore it is easy to
say – there is a club especially for you. |
